cathexes
(ka-thĕk'sēz) / noun
Investment of mental or emotional energy into a person, object, or idea.
We named the studio after the act of intention. Every site, client, and constraint gets the same investment of energy, from first sketch to final walkthrough.
Cathexes is a full-service architecture studio working across residential, multifamily, commercial, and hospitality projects throughout Nevada, California, and the mountain West.
how we work
Every project begins with deep attention to site, climate, and community. We design architecture that belongs where it stands.
We work closely with clients, consultants, and communities to shape spaces that reflect shared vision and real needs.
Thoughtful material selection and detailing ensure our buildings age gracefully and connect to their surroundings.
We consider the long-term impact of every decision — environmental, social, and economic.
